Drupal Campus Tour in Iloilo (John B. lacson University)

Another exciting event was held at John B. lacson University in Iloilo City last April 13, 2013.

With the help of Miss. Jarrah Brillantes and her Team in Molo, IloIlo the PHDUG Community was invited to do another Drupal events inside the Campus audience of John B. Lacson University.

The Campus Tour is a whole day event compose of a half-day seminar and training with live demonstrations to Drupal, Windows Azure and PHP development as well as career talks for graduating students in the IT fields.

In Cooperation with our local partners we would like to thank Mozilla Philippines, Microsoft Philippines and Educate Simplify in supporting and sponsoring our Campus Tour event in Iloilo.
Which aim to educate, equip and encourage participants like students, faculties and IT administrators of the School to use and give back to the Drupal community by learning, sharing, and contributing what they have learned from the campus training and seminar.

The Campus Tour help us connect with the local IT students and professionals to start a group of people who will continue engaging themselves in the initiative of promoting Drupal and other Open Source Software through support meet ups and IT events and trainings that will educate people to learn more and connect them in the Drupal community. The result, another Drupal IloIlo Group has been established after this Camp.

Drupal 4D in Angeles University Foundation (March 9, 2013)

What is Drupal 4D?

Drupal 4D means Design, Develop, Distribute, Drupal. This is a follow up event from the last Campus Tour held at De La Salle University Taft last March 8, 2013 then from March 9, headed to Angeles, Pampanga for another whole day seminar and training to Drupal,PHP, Microsoft Azure and Mobile development.

This is a joint project of Angeles University Foundation in cooperation with Microsoft Philippines, Jobs and Esthers Technologies, and Drupal Philippines Manila. With the help of our local partners to promote the Open Source Software inside the Campus Audience which aim to reach out students, faculties, and IT administrators to help them learn the latest Drupal, PHP, and Mobile Technology.

The Campus Tour is a whole day event consist of 2 sections divided into a half-day seminar and half-day training intro to Drupal, PHP, Microsoft Azure and Mobile platform.

The event didn't end without the feedback from the audience, which gave us an Ace for giving them a very informative, juicy, and challenging event. Dean Gilbert Tumibay of Angeles University Foundation congratulate the PHDUG team for the job well done. Which means, we will have another come back Campus Saga!
